Yeur Dream (actually, it was mine!)

This year I had the pleasure to visit Amsterdam for YeurDreamin, and it was a blast!

It was the first edition for this community-led conference that covers all Benelux. I love the concept of moving city helping to bring the community to many trails & blazers.

A big round of applause for the organisers:ย  Andre Van Kampen, Jan Vandevelde, Kathryn Chlosta, Kevin Jackson, Michael De Feyter, Paul Ginsberg, Sergey Erlikh & Steve Thornhill. Plus all their helpers, what a team!

Soon you will have the content of the sessions available, with 4 tracks to follow and not only a day conference but there was a DreamWeek with plenty to get involved with.

So rather than write about it, Iโ€™ll show you a tiny bit of my experience:

And that was just a snippet! Check out more about the event here.

This year as a bonus the conference came “with a chaser”: YeurLeadin. Which I thoroughly enjoyed, learning from my peers on how to extend and improve our efforts with the Trailblazer Community Groups we look after.

and the foodie bit…

I have taken the opportunity in previous posts to talk about my ‘other’ favourite subject: Yumminess. This one is no exception!

And if you want to be guided by a local expert AND Yeurdreamin organiser, check this out:

So here it comes, from my trailblazing in Amsterdam I can certainly recommend the following:

Anne & Max

Because the days starts with breakfast, they have this combo option (order only if very hungry!)

Morlang

This one is for and by the locals, if you feel like something else than open sandwiches, cheese and potatoes :p The dishes are seasonal, the clams & artichokes pasta was really good.

Red

By the river with a very small menu (either lobster or steak) with perfectly cooked items, nice and relax atmosphere and extremely comfy seats.

For a drink and or a nibble, this quirky place has a nice selection of small dishes that can be nicely paired with their wine selection.

That’s it from me. Hope you are not too hungry (or) jealous, just a healthy amount to see you at YeurDreamin’20!

Thanks to the Trailblazer Community, this year alone so far Iโ€™ve been in Madrid, Malaga, Cyprus & Amsterdam. Who knows what’s nextย ๐Ÿ™‚
